Middle grain (5 - 10 mm): to be mixed or to be used as drainage layer. This granularity is frequently employed fort he cultivation of Yamadori and pre-bonsai.

Akadama, extra-fine Premium
This extra fine granularity is particularly suitable for Mame and Shohin and as layer to cover the soil.
Grain: 0,2 - 1,5 mm
This product can also be used in shrimp tanks: PREMIUM SHRIMP AKADAMA - extra fine and extra hard.
This granularity allows to obtain a nicer appearance of the tree right after repotting. Moreover, the fine granularity fosters moss formation. However, please note that in order to guarantee a sufficient air circulation and permeability when repotting, a coarse granularity (e.g. Akadama 1-5 mm) is more suitable.

Special Soil for Garden Bonsai - 25 litres
With this high-quality substrate mixture, you can upgrade your existing soil, thus ensuring a fast rooting and development of your bonsai garden.
Should you order a bonsai garden, every sack will only be charged 10,- €.
Our recommendation: depending on the quality, mix the existing top soil with bonsai garden soil in a 1:1 or 1:3 ratio. The content of each delivered sack is 25 litres. Larger quantities (starting from 1 m³ approximately) are delivered in Big Bags.

This is our ready-to-use Bonsai standard soil.
Simply unpack and use for planting or repotting!
It contains a mixture of Akadama, a high quality hard clay mixture from Japan, pumice granulate (high porosity level, contains many air cells and avoids waterlogging) and Sphagnum-Turfmoos (which contains all the primary and secondary nutrients, as well as additional micronutrients fertilizers in small concentration).
This soil stores water and nutrients while avoiding root damages (root rot) thanks to its permeability, and guarantees a strong and healthy growth of plants. It is ideally suited for all indoor and outdoors plants (except for azaleas, which require "Kanuma" ).
